Transport for New South Wales have revealed that 220 buses with a capacity of 16,000 people per hour are to be mysteriously ‘deployed’ elsewhere after they are eliminated for the Sydney Light Rail. 180 Buses per hour in peak are to be eliminated from Kingsford/Randwick to Central/Circular Quay alone.
Where did they go?
Mike Baird’s Electorate of course! 480 new weekly services will be added to the network between February and October 2016 to increase frequency and alleviate crowding, prior to the delivery of the new B-Line service in late 2017.
