The Senate Estimates committee meeting is a time for the government to be asked questions, and provide questions under oath.
The government is now only quoting capacity in the morning peak hour between 7am and 9am. The busiest time for the buses is between 8am and 9am, so by the government only quoting capacity figures from 7am and 9am, they are downplaying the bus capacity in peak hour.
Why won’t the government come out and tell us the truth? The only way to find out is to keep asking. Call Mike Baird on (02) 8574 5000 and call Malcolm Turnbull on (02) 6277 7700 and ask them if there is any benefit to the light rail project, is there any point in continuing the project, or can we find a better win win solution for all concerned.
Please let me know what they say!
